Film-Makers Cooperative - New American Cinema Group (NACG), New York - Senstad's short film series How We Live Together , and a select series of Senstad's video art works going back to 2001, are now part of the Film-Makers Cooperative's archive and international distribution library. Founded in 1961, the Filmmakers Coop distributes the worlds largest collection of avant-garde, experimental and artist films.

Streaming Museum, New York - Oct 31 - Nov 14 2021.  Online exclusive screening event of Senstad's 4 short film series How We Live Together, 2020-21 based on Roland Barthes 1977 philosophical university lectures on ideorrythmic living formats in context of our contemporary crisis. The short films star acclaimed actor Bill Sage( Boardwalk Empire, Hap & Leonard, American Psycho) in four monologue reading performances accompanied by both Senstad's and Sage's stream of consciousness footage, archival material and documentation from New York during the pandemic. Sound management is by JG Thirlwell for enhanced listening experience of Sage's performance. Supported by NBK Norway. Presented in partnership with WCPUN ( World Council of People for the United Nations) marking the the Nov 1-12 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.

EMMY Nominated IMMERSIVE WORLD TV Doc series now global: Created by Producing Partners for WNET and ALLARTS.org , the 9 episode TV documentary series presents Senstad's spatial light sculptures ELEMENTS alongside James Turrell, Dan Flavin/Dia Art Foundation and Anthony McCall. It is available on PBS Channel 13 in the US, in ITALY on RAI 5 , and distributed through Terranoa.com in FRANCE for the EU market.

Maggi Peyton Gallery, Welcome Back, group show curated by Jean Sonderand. I will be participating with the text installation piece How We Live Together, (2018-2020). Music is Art Festival, Buffalo, NY, September 11, 2021: I am particiapating in the 13 hour festival with a remastered version of SC.01.01 (2.13 min) that marks the 20th anniversary of SC.01.01, a glitch and noise video and the first of my numerous collaborations with composer JG Thirlwell since 2001.

Carriage Trade, New York - Social Photography IX, July 21 - Augt 30, 2021. Curated by Peter Scott. I am participating in the yearly fundraiser exhibition with a memorial statement and photographic portrait of the Picasso-mural clad governmental Y-Block building in Oslo, Norway from 2019. The symbolic building was the starting point of the tragic July 22nd 2011 attacks in Norway, representing post-war social democratic policies that ended with the Utøya massacre that day. The modernist building was designed by architect Erling Viksjø and housed interior and exterior unique murals that were a collaboration between Norwegian sculptor Carl Nesjar and Pablo Picasso, and considered a gift to the Norwegian people and the public city space. The building was demolished by the Norwegian government in 2020 during the pandemic admist national and international uproar.

EMMY Nomination: The ALLARTS TV Series Season 1 (WNET) IMMERSIVE WORLD has been nominated to an EMMY New York award. The 12 episode series includes the episode IMMERSIVE LIGHT presenting Anne Katrine Senstad, Dan Flavin/Dia Foundaiton, James Turrell and Anthony McCall. The series was created and produced by Producing Partners, and was first aired in Brazil on Canal 1 Arte in December 2019.

Artist Lecture at The Mosaic Rooms, London. August 24th 2017. TIME BEYOND PLACE – The Cultural Bridge: A presentation on the cross-cultural collaborative all-female artist platform TIME BEYOND PLACE initiated by New York-based artist Anne Senstad. The artists productions respond to preservation of cultural heritage in southern Saudi Arabia, examining perceptions of the psychological and architectural space though site specific, sculptural, video and performative art, and to ideas on entropy, memory codes, social engagement and domesticity. The initiative includes Saudi artist Dr Zahrah AlGhamdi, Jameela Mater, Ghada Da as well as artist and founder Anne Senstad.

CULTURUNNERS in Abha, Saudi Arabia - Feb-March 2016. Anne Senstad's intervention and performative project Textile Topography took place in the Asir region in southern KSA. Funded by Culturunners/Edge of Arabia and Office for Conetmporary Art Norway. The project was launched as an initial art and research intervention, with the objective of establishing of a cross cultural women's platform bridging culture, heritage, art and anthropological preservation.

Starting in the fall of 2016 as an ongoing long term project Culturunners and Anne Senstad will continue to the next developmental fase of the initiative Time Beyond Place - The Cultural Bridge, which will include exhibitions, lectures and workshops in Saudi Arabia with women artists and artisans from KSA and the west, in collaboration with major institutions in KSA and USA, such as the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture.

an exhibition inspired by dan flavin’s masterful exploration of light, shows today’s contemporary artists continued use of light in painting, sculpture, photography, video and drawing. light has always been a source of vision for artists, summed up masterfully in this quote by pierre bonnard: “there is always color, it has yet to become light.”
